Susan (Susie) Patricia Mary Dunham (née Penlington) was born on 2nd June 1966 at 23 The Meadway, Chelsfield Park in Orpington in the London Borough of Bromley, England to Robert (Bob) Ivan Penlington (Accountant) and Margaret Mary Penlington (Physiotherapist). At the time Susie had two siblings who are her brother Robert Nicholas (Nick) (b.21/12/1961) and her sister Diana Iva Ann (Dinny) (b.17/09/1964). A further sister Caroline Nora Jane (Carrie) arrived on 30/01/1971. Educated at The Highway Primary School in Chelsfield, Kent and then Bullers Wood School for Girls in Chislehurst, Kent, Susie achieved four 'O' Level passes. She then attended the London College of Fashion where she completed a two year course in Fashion and Design and was awarded a Diploma. After college Susie went to work for BHS in the West End of London and then for the company Windsmoor. She got made redundant and went to work for the First Commercial Bank where her sister Dinny also worked. Susie was married to David Dunham (b.31/07/1963) on Saturday 2nd August 1986 at St. Martin of Tours (Anglican) Church, Chelsfield in the London Borough of Bromley by the Rev. Leslie Virgo. The wedding was lovely but it was a very hot day and one of the bridesmaids fainted at the Alter - she recovered well. Susie has two twin daughters by David. They are Lydia and Ella Dunham born at the Conquest Hospital in Hastings on 22nd June 2000. They lived initially in Glentrammon Road, Orpington and then moved to a lovely new five bedroom detached house in Hurst Green, East Sussex.
